Madison, CT (August 2, 2014) - Clarity Software Solutions, Inc., through its internal program “Clarity for Charity” recently came together to support 3 local charities including Habitat for Humanity, OutRUN 38 and Neighbor to Neighbor. From helping build homes in New Haven and participating in a local 5K run/walk, to being event sponsors, Clarity has continued on its path of supporting local organizations along the coast. Most recently, 36 Clarity team members volunteered to visit New Haven for a day of building through Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven. To date, the team has coordinated 2 different days for 25 volunteers to participate. A third team of volunteers is scheduled to work on October 3.
In addition to working with Habitat for Humanity, Clarity has recently supported OutRUN 38 at a local 5K run/walk the organization hosted August 2 in Madison. The goals of OutRUN 38 are to promote fitness and healthy living, heighten awareness of Cystic Fibrosis, and generate a financial backing to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. A donation was made to the foundation in addition to employee participation on the day of the event. Clarity had 8 employees participate in the race to support the cause.
The third event supported by Clarity for Charity was Neighbor to Neighbor’s annual Block Party that took place June 7. The organization works with Madison Youth and Family Services, to provide a safety net for families and individuals, by providing assistance for oil, gas and electric, housing and financial crisis intervention, as well as supplying non-food items at the food pantry. Not only was Clarity able to sponsor the event with other local businesses, but they were able to sell tickets internally encouraging employees to attend and drive donations through ticket sales.
“At Clarity, we are proud to support the shoreline community,” said Amy Dickman, Director of Human Resources, Clarity Software Solutions. “Clarity for Charity is an extension of our core values and allows us to share our success with those around us. Our team enjoys serving the community and we are learning from each experience.”
