Clarity Surpasses Goals With Continued Growth

Leading Healthcare Plan Communications Provider Grows 106%

Madison, CT (September 1, 2014) – Clarity Software Solutions, Inc., leading healthcare plan communications provider recently reported positive growth for 2013 and 2014 to date. The company closed out 2013 with a 63 percent increase in revenue over the previous year and has shown continued success in 2014. To date, an increase of 106 percent from the same time last year has been reported. Clarity launched 2 new products this year including an EOB application to comply with the requirements set forth by the Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and an e-delivery portal, designed to be integrated with a health plan’s member-facing web portal. To manage the ever growing workload, they have continued to expand the internal team, adding 34 new team members in 2014 alone.

The EOB application, which launched in May, was created to ensure compliance with the recent changes to Medicare Advantage plans. Clarity has designed the EOB application to support delivery by claim, monthly or quarterly, which will ensure that all MAOs have the correct tools to stay compliant. Each EOB can be tracked post production with the ability to display each mailed piece, view the distribution date and the content details. In addition, Clarity can also integrate support for commercial plans within the same application, allowing a health plan to manage all EOB communication from a single source.

The e-delivery portal gives members access to all of their healthcare documents, including their membership ID cards. It was created as a tool for healthcare providers that do not have access to their own member-facing web portal or to supplement an existing web portal with a single sign on and consistent look and feel. It allows them communicate important healthcare documents with their customers. The e-delivery portal enables users to brand their communications and customize specific member information within each piece.

This year alone, Clarity has already brought on 34 new team members, in addition to the 20 brought on in 2013. The growth of the team in last year resulted in a 43 percent increase in staffing over 2012. Within less than 2 years, Clarity has added 54 talented individuals to their organization.
