Clarity Unifies Security Standards with HITRUST r2 Certification Across Platforms and Facilities
The prestigious certification reinforces Clarity's commitment to cybersecurity and data protection
Madison, CT (September 4, 2024) – Clarity Software Solutions, Inc., a leader in healthcare communications and engagement, announced that its platforms across Clarity Software Solutions and Clarity Output Solutions achieved HITRUST r2 Certification.
The HITRUST CSF r2 Certification is the most rigorous assessment available. It verifies that an organization meets stringent regulatory compliance and industry-defined cybersecurity requirements while effectively mitigating risk.
“HITRUST certification is considered the gold standard because of the comprehensiveness and applicability of the control requirements, depth of the assurance process, and level of oversight that ensures accuracy,” said Jeremy Huval, Chief Innovation Officer at HITRUST.
This is the first time Clarity Software Solutions and Clarity Output Solutions have unified their efforts to achieve a two-year r2 certification. Previously, Clarity Software Solutions earned a two-year r2 certification while Clarity Output Solutions obtained a one-year i1 certification.

Clarity’s teams worked diligently to answer over 600 assessment questions across 19 domains and provided more than 1,300 unique pieces of evidence throughout the certification process.
